For those that like the lumpy salty stuff there is now a 2 day open meeting at Felpham April 26/27. This is a joint meeting with the Finns. There will be a quiz and curry evening on the Saturday evening.
Quick reminder that the Exmoor Beastie is this Sunday and the Burghfield Open over the weekend of April 5/6.

So there's 2 days to go before the trials of the south coast and the forums have been oddly quiet on the subject. The forecast is predicting some fine entertainment, with strong (but not overpowering) southerlies on saturday and a lighter variant on sunday. In addition to the temptations of the open sea we have brand new changing rooms (seriously, we may even be the first people to use them, they're that new), as well as an excellent and very reasonably priced bar.

So, who's coming along? It's a rare chance to race on the real ocean.

Another of Jon's reports from the Blaze fleet's recent trip to Felpham is now on the website under results 2014. As always a good read.
Meanwhile our next event is POSH ( paignton open for single handlers) at well erm Paignton on the weekend of May 10/11. Please see below for a link. There are currently 7 Blazes signed up with more threatening to turn up. For those that haven't been before it a great event and a good way to get some practice on the salty stuff before the Nationals which are not that far away.

Can I just add that pre-entry for POSH is free, you only need to pay when you turn up, but the entry fee will be an extra fiver if you have not registered by this weekend. Presently the biggest number of entries has come from the D-one guys on 9, then 7 Blazes and 7 Phantoms...
